2012 Box Lacrosse Coaching Information
BOX LACROSSE 2012 SEASON IS FAST APPROACHING AND COACHING APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED
Please see the application below, complete it and send it to jim_meredith9@sympatico.ca . You may reference a previous year’s application and just put updated info on the new one. REMEMBER that all coaches are required to complete certain levels of clinics that are available in the spring. If you have completed some training, a transcript of your NCCP records should be attached.
Our house league program is always in need of organizers, coaches, timekeepers, referees or just door openers. House league runs till the end of June/first of July. An application is not required to be part of the HL program, just let us know through an email or when you register your child.
The winter program for beginners is starting in Feb. Anyone interested in helping out or have questions about becoming a coach, please contact Jim, jim_meredith9@sympatico.ca. This could be a way of seeing if you are interested in coaching.
Our Bench Staff
The HDMLA has volunteer Coaches, Managers and Trainers. Each of these people give their time and expertise in the area to assist our young Hawks in their game. In order to be a Coach or a Trainer specific requirements are needed for qualification. The Guelph Superclinic runs the 2nd weekend of April every year to update your qualifications. Please see the OLA website for other clinics available.

New for 2012, a Coaching Selection Committee will be utilized to help with team coaching selections. Application for bench staff is available below.
Coaching Applications
Please print off the coaches application for BOX REP teams and once you have filled it out you can either scan it and email it back to the BOX coaching coordinator.
Note that a submitted application does not guarentee your posting to a team. The Coaching Selection Committee will contact you regarding your application.
All applications are kept confidental to the HDMLA executive.
